Abstract: “This paper presents the findings of a research which sought to investigate the readiness to Integrate Sustainable construction Principles into Curriculum Design for Built Environment Professional programs in the Nigerian Universities. Developing the knowledge and understanding that construction professionals acquire of sustainable construction practice leads to considerable improvement in the environmental performance of the construction sector. Integrating sustainable environmental issues within the built environment education curricula provide the basis of this research. An integration of sustainable development principles into the universities built environment professional programmes are carried out with a view of finding solutions to the key issues identified.
