Abstract: In the literature, it is possible to discern two types of information asymmetry in the capital market: a horizontal type – between controlling and minority shareholders – and a vertical type– between the company and investors. Studying them is very useful because information transparency improves the parity conditions of investors, mitigates conflicts of interest, diminishes the risks of privileged information, and reduces capital costs. In this investigation, the different types of minority shareholders are studied and horizontal asymmetry is further investigated to characterize these investors and to identify the causal relations between these characteristics and the asymmetry evaluated through the spread (bid-ask). In Chile, the characterization of minority shareholders is interesting due to the property concentration, the legal framework that protects minority investors, and the accounting rules applied to companies that issue public securities. Abstract: Urban sprawl is an emerging issue underpinning several dynamic changes in the peri-urban of Malang. While the environmental impacts (e.g. Land use changes, resource degradation) are inevitable, socioeconomic changes (e.g. social cohesion, economic transformation) is also tangible. Being neglected beforehand, planning had delivered considerable efforts to regulate land uses and controlling growth within the peri-urban. However, urban planning and management instruments such as zoning and urban expansion zones, have become increasingly consistent in leading cities toward an uncertain and chaotic future. Land use maps derived from Landsat imagery between 2010 and 2015 show a process of accelerated urban sprawl whereby built-up lands have more than doubled and scattered centers have merged into megacities. 3. MICROFINANCE INTERVENTIONS IN RENEWABLE ENERGY: ENHANCING THE LIVING STANDARD OF RURAL HOUSEHOLDS

Abstract: This paper reviews the glimpses of microfinance interventions in renewable energy technologies to promote rural electrification through Solar Home Systems. In this regard, the present study highlights the strategic issues, implementation and dissemination of renewable energy technology in Bangladesh to enhance the living standard of rural households. By critically reviewing the research concentrations and findings of pertinent studies, this paper attempts to fill the gap of present literature on sustainability of solar energy dissemination programs by addressing the practice of micro-finance in a developing country like Bangladesh. 5. A STUDY ON (BANGLADESH) HAZARIBAGH TANNERY AREA AND RELATIONS WITH ECONOMIC, ENVIRONMENTAL, RELOCATION ISSUES)

Abstract: More than 200 modern and old tannery units are now operating in the industry of Bangladesh. These are located mostly in the Hazaribagh area of Dhaka city. These tanneries are a source of massive pollution. Wastage of these industries are polluting the surrounded area including river Buriganga. These pollution is threatening for local resident people, indirectly total city and a major river. This study was based on an investigation of “Hazaribagh Tannery Area and Relations with - Economic, Environmental and Relocation Issues”. For this study, primary data were collected from different group related and non-related with tannery business of the area.
