1. CROSS-COUNTRY ANALYSIS ON WASTE GENERATION, COLLECTION SERVICE COVERAGE, INTERMEDIATE TREATMENT, AND FINAL DISPOSAL IN SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT

Abstract: In this paper, the trends of waste collection coverage, intermediate treatment, and final disposal of solid waste in the world are analyzed based on the cross-country analysis of waste management statistics. As a result, the improvement of waste collection service coverage strongly correlates with the increase of Human Development Index (HDI) and economic growth (GDP/capita). The introduction of intermediate treatments also correlates with economic growth, in which compost production and material recycling firstly become widespread in the low to middle-income stages, then following these, waste-to-energy incineration technology surges from middle to high-income stages. Anaerobic digestion also emerges from middle to high-income stages but in a limited scale. The method of final disposal of solid waste widely varies but in general open dumping decreases according to the economic growth, and sanitary landfilling increases

2. INNOVATION PROCESS MODEL BASED ON THE SHARING ECONOMY CONCEPT

3. LARGE CORE GERMANIUM DOPED PHOTONIC CRYSTAL FIBER OVER FMF

Abstract: Hermite Gaussian modes are multiplexed over few mode fiber (FMF) with a Germanium doped large core photonic crystal fiber as a waveguide in a 20Gb system is studied. Comparison with regards to bit error rate (BER) and eye diagram performance is made between the 20Gb Germanium doped system and another system under the same conditions but with an undoped large core PCF. Results will indicate that the Germanium doped system performs more optimally compared to the undoped system in terms of the resultant bit error rate and eye diagrams. 4. A CASE STUDY OF SOFTWARE PROCESS IMPROVEMENT BASED ON CMMI VER 2.0

Abstract: Most businesses rely heavily on software to properly function their business process. As a result, many businesses attempt to meet their needs by developing and customizing their software. However, many organizations face difficulties in the software development process. Effective software development is necessary to produce good quality software by finishing on time, being cost-effective, and following user requirements. CMMI-Dev version 2.0 is a framework that can be used to improve the quality of the software development process. This research aims to develop recommendations that can improve software quality based on the application of CMMI-Dev. Utilizing the case study approach in the banking industry, this study proposes a recommendation to improve software quality. The recommendation is based on CMMI-Dev version 2.0 as the practice area is chosen according to the selected CMMI roadmap and implements a final recommendation to improve the quality of its software process.

5. AN INVESTIGATION OF LANDING IRREGULARITIES BASED ON ADS-B DATA FROM SULTAN SYARIF KASIM II AIRPORT, INDONESIA

Abstract: In this study, we analyze the data from the landing phase at Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport to identify patterns and trends in flight operations, particularly the landing process involving touchdown areas and rules. The data was collected between September 26 and October 29, 2022. The researcher used the ADS-B data of aircraft position and plotting at Google Maps to organize the data by runway number and identify the aircraft data anomalies. The data's information was used to conclude the data's aircraft landing irregularities. This task assists the data analysis process in determining patterns of airlines and aircraft types connected to compliance with landing restrictions in the form of runway touchdown areas. The results show that the aircraft code variable indicates that six different aircraft types have been recorded to execute the landing operation. 6. DESIGN OF A SUB SYNCHRONOUS OSCILLATION CONDITION PROTECTION RELAY USING TIME FREQUENCY ANALYSIS

Abstract: To boost a transmission line’s capacity for power transfer, series compensation is required. However, when we use series compensation there is risk of sub-synchronous resonance (SSR). With the increasing penetration of renewable generation resources, power grids have become more susceptible to sub-synchronous resonance phenomena, especially to sub synchronous control interaction, which produces fast-growing oscillations. This leads to mechanical fatigue of the shaft on which the turbine and generator are connected. Till now, different techniques have been proposed, like eigenvalue, frequency scan, and time domain simulation to study sub-synchronous resonance. 7. DESIGN AND SIMULATION OF ISOLATED CONVERTER FOR AUXILIARY POWER MODULE

Abstract: Electric vehicles (EVs) use an Auxiliary Power Module (APM) as a replacement for the alternator in conventional internal combustion engine vehicles. APM takes input power from high voltage (HV) battery and provides output power to charge low voltage (LV) battery and drive the auxiliary loads. For the APM with high input voltage galvanic isolation is a requirement. Soft-switched topologies offer better efficiency and EMI performance. This paper presents selection of suitable topology for such an APM operating within an inputvoltage range of 82.5 V to 126 V. The design procedure and mathematical computation are likewise incorporated. Thedesigned converter has efficiency of 94%.

9. DESIGN AND COMPARISON OF INTEGER AND FRACTIONAL PI CONTROLLERS FOR FIELD ORIENTED CONTROL OF PMSM

Abstract: Permanent magnet synchronous motor is a commonly used motor in electric vehicles. This paper focuses on the design and comparative analysis of integer and fractional order proportional integral controllers on Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) used for electric vehicle application. Field oriented control (FOC) is used for control of PMSM in EV application. Dynamic equations in rotor reference frame are used to obtain the state space representation of the PMSM. Perturb and disturb method is used to convert this state space representation into transfer function. Frequency responsebased approach is used to design integer order PI (IOPI) and fractional order PI (FOPI) controllers for current as well as speed loops. Four different combinations of inner and outer loops are then considered for comparative analysis of time and frequency domain response. Abstract: The braking is one of the most important duty cycles of a rail vehicle , irrespective of the type of the vehicle, i.e. a classical or a high speed one, due to the traffic safety that it must ensure and to the great diversity of factors that may influence its function. The electrical braking (with rheostat or regenerative) is characteristic for the rail stock motor vehicles and is based on the principle of reversibility in the electrical equipment. 12. EMPIRICAL RELATIONSHIP TO EXPLICATE MUDFLOW BEHAVIOUR

Abstract: Mudflow is one of the natural disasters that frequently happen in Indonesia. This flow-type of landslide occurs suddenly and moves very fast, so it can cause massive damage and loss. However, knowledge about this disaster's behavior is minimal, even though it poses a huge destructive threat. Assessment from twenty case studies is done to understand more about mudflow behavior. High plasticity silt is the soil type most likely to become mudflow. The sediment concentration by volume value for mudflow is in the range of 0.29–0.56. Eight relationships between mudflow parameters were obtained: the steeper the slope, the greater the flow distance; as the liquidity index increases, the viscosity and yield stress value will decrease; the higher the viscosity, the greater the flow width; More volume moves from sources to deposition areas over longer flow distances; as flow rate increases, flow duration decreases; the deeper the flow depth, the shorter the flow duration. 14. USER ENTREPRENEURSHIP: ACCIDENTAL ENTREPRENEURS, HOBBYISTS AND PROFESSIONALS AS INNOVATION ACTORS IN TOURISM

Abstract: The paper analyzes two innovative organizations in the well-being field with recent strands of user innovation and service concepts. The Service dominant (SD) logic of marketing (Lusch and Vargo, 2008) incorporates co-creation and a strong network lens and strengthens the perspective that innovative actors can be anywhere in the network of the organization. The Lead user theory (Erich von Hippel, 1986) defines the user ahead of the population in a rising trend, and that more frequently innovates if extreme needs or tastes call for a better solution. I argue that the recent papers by Shah & Tripsas (2007) highlighting “The Accidental Entrepreneur” as a heavy user innovating and the paper by Chatterji & Fabrizio (2008) focusing on “Professional Users as Source of Innovation” can help to expand the traditional innovation concepts in line with SD logic and Lead user theory. The research method is a case-study using historical data and interviews with managers and network partners.

15. THE EFFECT OF MANUAL LYMPH DRAINAGE ON BREAST CANCER-RELATED LYMPHEDEMA

Abstract: Prevention of post-mastectomy complications is the major objective of physiotherapy. The prognostic benefits of lymph node dissection have been demonstrated for patients with breast cancer or gynecological malignancies; however, a complication associated with this procedure is lymphedema. Lymphedema is a common complication in patients who have undergone breast cancer surgery. Breast cancer-associated lymphedema (BCRL) is a major complication of breast cancer treatment, affects the quality of life of breast cancer survivors who develop it. Edema commonly affects the arm, leading to discomfort, decreased arm movements, pain, and decreased quality of life We studied whether manual lymphatic drainage could manage or prevent upper limb edema in patients after breast cancer surgery. 16. MULTILEVEL INVERTER APPLICATION FOR SPEED CONTROL OF INDUCTION MOTOR

It helps in supplying the electrical system with reliable and effective power. This paper presents the performance analysis of Diode Clamped Multilevel Inverter for speed control of single-phase induction motor in open loop as well as in closed loop system. The speed is controlled by constant V/F control method. Speed is controlled over wide range by taking torque Constant. Using a closed-loop PI controller, the SPWM modulation technique is utilized to regulate the inverter's output and the motor's input. 17. SYSTEMATIC WAY TO ENHANCE THE DESIGN OF MECHANICAL PRODUCT BY UTILIZING ACCELERATED TESTING

Abstract: This investigation shows the use of parametric accelerated life testing (ALT) as an approach to discover design deficiencies and alter them in producing a reliable quantitative (RQ) specification. It covers: (1) product BX life that X% of a population is unsuccessful with parametric ALT plan, (2) fatigue analysis, (3) ALTs with modifications, and (4) judgement as to whether the design(s) acquires the targeted BX life. A (generalized) life–stress model by the linear transport process and a sample size equation are proposed. A pneumatic cylinder in a machine tool was utilized as a case investigation. a cylinder was being unsuccessful in a flexible manufacturing system.
