1. THE QUALITY OF PROFESSIONAL SOCIAL WORK EDUCATION: THE PHILOSOPHY OF CAPABILITIES IN THE EDUCATION SYSTEM IN ENGLAND

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to answer the question: "What are the current foundations of the social work education system in England and whether and how they can be used to reform the social work education system in the Czech Republic". While social work education in the Czech Republic is yet to be reformed, England has taken a number of measures over the past decade to promote the quality of training for helping professionals in social services. One of these has been the development of a holistic approach that links and unifies qualification training and creates a coherent concept of professional learning and development. This has been the Professional Capability Framework (the Framework) in England since 2012, which has been progressively rolled out across social work - from qualifying training to continuing education programs for highly skilled strategic staff

2. QUALITATIVE STUDY ON FEMALE INTRAPRENEURSHIP AND LEADERSHIP IN BRAZIL

Abstract: In all contemporary industrialized societies, women remain underrepresented in boardrooms and governments. While the gender gap has narrowed, women still face substantialchallenges climbing the corporate and political ladder. A male bias in the highest leadership positions is universal. In most past and contemporary societies, formal positions of political leadership have been, and continue to be, almost exclusively occupied by men. If women are currently no longer formally prohibited from holding positions of leadership and entrepreneurship, they remain less numerous or less powerful than their male counterparts. Women are less likely to reach the highest echelons in politics, business, science, and religion—and this is hard to justify, given that no consistent evidence exists of their being worse or better leaders by virtue of their gender. 3. BUILDING RESILIENCE AS A CONTEMPORARY CHALLENGE FOR SOCIAL WORKERS

Abstract: This paper focuses on the resilience of social workers. It aims to highlight strategies for increasing resilience in social workers in their daily practice to enable them to cope with the pressures of their demanding role. The current turbulent times, particularly in relation to the management of the Covid-19 pandemic and working with war refugees from Ukraine, are testament to this demanding nature. Resilience itself is defined as a concept that refers to the dynamic multilevel process of adaptation and achieving the desired level of well-being of a social worker despite experiencing distinct difficulties in managing their professional role. Within this conception, resilience is not seen as a static personality characteristic, but as a concept that has a changing, situational character over time.

4. EXISTENTIAL INSECURITY IN ADOLESCENCE AS A BASIS FOR SOCIAL WORK WITH YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE ERA OF SOCIETAL CRISES

Abstract: Today, the effects of the COVID19 pandemic are still reverberating, the world community is facing war in Ukraine, we are more consciously experiencing climate change and many people in the Euro-Atlantic area are experiencing unprecedented socio-economic difficulties. For many young people who are just preparing for their active lives, these crises show the world as an uncertain and dangerous place [1]. This situation increases the need to offer young people existential support in the context of social work to help them overcome the feelings of existential threat and insecurity that have weighed heavily on them in recent years. In my study I will thus address the question: "How, from the position of V.E. Frankl's existential analysis and logotherapy, can adolescents and their life situation be addressed in an era of societal crises?"

5. ENHANCING THE WELL-BEING OF CHILDREN OF INCARCERATED PARENTS THROUGH LIFE COACHING

Abstract: The text shows how the departure of a parent to prison affects the life situation of children and their well-being. When a parent is incarcerated, the child has to deal with a number of changes and risks that they face as a result of their parent's imprisonment. The child's life situation is fundamentally altered by this event. The specificity of the situation for this group of children creates new challenges for helping professionals to work with these children to achieve their thriving [1]. In assessing the impact of incarceration on a child's wellbeing, I rely on a capability approach to help identify the areas with the most severe impacts of incarceration on the child. This paper discusses the use of life coaching methods in enhancing the well-being of children of incarcerated parents. The thesis is based on the first research data mapping the situation of children of incarcerated parents in the Czech Republic.

6. AIR-QUALITY SENSORS: PATENT PORTFOLIO AND TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT

Abstract: Air-quality sensors have become one of the most discussed topics in the field of energy management, butresearch on their patent portfolio is still lacking. This study explored the technological development and patent portfolio of air-quality sensors, investigated the air-quality sensors in major countries to identify the trends in their development, and provided suggestions in terms of policy making and industrial development. Data-mining methods, includingcorrespondence analysis and K-means clustering, were employed in investigating the competitive and strategic-group relationships among major countries in air-quality sensor technologies. The results indicated that the countries vary in their technology positioning and patent portfolio, andsuggestions for the air-quality sensor industry in terms ofpolicy making and technology development are providedaccordingly.

7. TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR DEVELOPING EFFECTIVE PLASTIC WASTE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, A REVIEW

Abstract: To establish an effective plastic waste management system, it is indispensable to know the actual waste stream ofplastic waste. It is also noted that there are various types of plastic waste materials, and the technologies of pretreatment, recycling, and final disposal differ depending on the type. 8. BAGZI HIP HOP WORLD: CONNECTING MUSICIANS THROUGH WEB PROGRAMMING AND SOCIAL NETWORKING

Abstract: This paper presents BagziHipHopWorld, a web application and social networking platform that connects artists and facilitates the sharing and promotion of original music within the hip-hop genre. By leveraging modern software tools, users can create accounts, upload music, and engage in meaningful communication. The development process, interface design, and database architecture are discussed. User feedback highlights positive experiences, emphasizing the platform's potential for artist collaboration. Future work includes cloud integration and enhanced web security measures. BagziHipHopWorld demonstrates the transformative power of web applications in the music industry and creation of the new opportunities for aspiring musicians.

9. LABORATORY TESTS ON THE DETERMINATION OF THE UNDRAINED SHEAR STRENGTH OF KAOLIN AND BENTONITE MUD

Abstract: Mudflow is a type of ground movement that occurs rapidly when the water content of the soil increases, exceeding its liquid limit. The rheological approach is commonly used to study the stress-strain behavior of a mudflow. Two rheological-based parameters used to determine the flow velocity of the mudflow are yield stress and viscosity. In this study, yield stress was assumed to be equal to the undrained shear strength of the cohesive soils. Three laboratory test methods (i.e., the fall cone penetration test, the vane shear test, and the cylinder strength meter) were adopted to estimate the undrained shear strength of kaolin and bentonite soils. The results indicated that the cylinder strength test method had benefits against the other conventional methods in measuring the undrained shear strength of the soils with high water content. The experimental results also show that increasing the water content decreased the undrained shear strength and increased the flow velocity.

10. OPPORTUNITIES FOR INDEPENDENT APPEARANCE OF THE SMALL HOLIDAY HOMES OWNERS ON THE MARKET

Abstract: Prices in the tourism market are formed at the levels where supply and demand meet. Given the specifics of the tourism market, in most cases the price formation includes an intermediary (travel agency, travel sales agent, etc.) that raises the price level to very substantial percentages compared to the price offered by bidders. The aim of this paper is to analyse the possibilities of independent advertising of owners of small holiday homes on the market, i.e. to investigate whether there are more costeffective ways of independent sale of accommodation services compared to conventional business through agencies or agents.
