1. ON THE EXTENSION OF A STAR BASED PARALLEL INTERCONNECTION NETWORK TOPOLOGY

Abstract: Due to architectural innovations design of parallel interconnection network topology is always an area of research. The Star graph is very popular among existing topologies. The present attempts modify star graphs with the application of extension technique. The different topological parameters of the proposed topology are derived. The comparison of topological and performance parameters is carried out to establish the suitability of the proposed network as a better candidate for large scale parallel system

2. COURSE KEEPING CONTROL OF BOEING 747 BY USING A MINIMUM-ORDER OBSERVER STATE CONTROLLER

Abstract: In this paper, a state space mathematical model of the Boeing 747 was defined, particularly for the lateral aircraft motions. A dynamical behavior of the model has been analized through numerical and graph-analytical methods. A Pole-placement approach of designing the control system was applied. A minimum-observer state based feedback controller was discussed. The whole model was developed by using Matlab and simulated by Simulink. A full-order observer was proposed because of its less sensitivity on measurement errors than the minimum-order (or reduced-order) observer (or state estimator). In the extreme cases, where the output noise is a significant problem, then an application of Kalman filter was suggested.

3. DESIGN OF A TRAFFIC GENERATION PLATFORM FOR OFFLINE EVALUATION OF NIDS

Abstract: In this paper, the design of a platform for the generation of NIDS evaluation datasets is proposed. The increasing sophistication of network attacks requires high volumes of high quality and realistic test data that can faithfully represent today's security threats to information systems. Our platform is based on the generation of aggregate traffic through the reproduction of real offline traffic and the injection of anomalous traffic. The use of free software tools in Linux environment is proposed. This solution provides an answer to the lack of datasets suitable for the study of Intrusion Detection Systems.

4. A CONCEPTUAL MODEL FOR PEER TO PEER ENERGY TRADING USING BLOCKCHAIN

Abstract: Power grids are undergoing significant changes due to rapid growth in renewable energy resources. While these changes enhance sustainability and efficiency, they also create significant management challenges as the complexity of power systems increases. To tackle these challenges, decentralized solutions are emerging, in which local communities are arranged in microgrids. Within the microgrid a prosumer (i.e., consumers with energy generation and consumption capabilities) and the consumer can trade energy with each other without involving any arbitrator, thereby smoothing the load on the main grid. It is very important to design a reliable transaction platform for the energy trading. This paper describes the efficient and reliable model for peer to peer energy trading based on Blockchain. Peer to peer transaction platform build on smart contracts, coupled with blockchain removes the reliance on the central system between transaction parties.

6. PCA BASED DIMENSION REDUCTION OF FEATURE MATRIX TO TRAIN SVM FOR BALANCE DISORDER DIAGNOSIS

Abstract: This study is mainly about the research to select the discriminative features for the machine learning algorithm to figure out the reason behind the problem of people who suffer from balance disorder. The foregoing step on this way has been determining the proper algorithm where we achieved the best performance with the Support Vector Machine (SVM) with Gaussian Kernel, the so-called Radial Basis Function (RBF). In our study, we first input the complete IMU-sensor based data set collected both from the healthy people and those suffering from vestibular system disorders to SVM-RBF. Next, we reduce the feature matrix using the Principle Component Analysis (PCA). Following this procedure, the machine is trained with the new data to recognize the effect of feature transformation on the accuracy of the learning method. We observed that PCA had satisfactory influence on the elimination of redundant features that it points to high correlation between some of the members of the starting featur
